Late night snacks, haha. Have you ever gotten up during the middle of the night and decided that you need a nice cup of milk or water, and you need to waddle around your apartment or house without knocking anything over. Finally you arrive at you kitchen area and you make contact with the fridge and grab its handle and this beam of light bursts in your face. Then you realize that little light from your fridge ends up taking part of a big light source and light up your face as well as your kitchen area.
